This is our very first newsletter and boy howdy are we happy to be here!
We’ve been hard at work getting our bookstore up and running and
we are here to announce the opening of [drumroll, please]:

A bookstore?! In this economy?!

YEP! As book bans continue and media censorship increases, as our government erases the stories and histories of so many communities, and as people at home and abroad face violence at the hands of the US government, it is vital to maintain access to diverse representation, sharing our experiences, and expanding our perspectives beyond our own worldviews.

We are kicking off Endless Wonders Books this summer with our online store and pop-up events around Portland as we search for a physical location. Our dreams for Endless Wonders include a space where we can come together to connect to each other, learn new things, and build new ways of being in the world rooted in collective care.

Local to Portland? Find us in-person this month:

• Read 25 Day: Wednesday 6/25, 6:00p at Clinton Park (gather at the big Oak tree on the lower fields). Bring your book & a blanket or chair to join us for 25 minutes of silent reading, a lively conversation about our current and favorite reads, and some reading-related giveaways.

• We Shine Louder Pride Festival: Sunday 6/29, 11:00a-4:00p at Hey Love. Sunday’s market is free to attend, but some events that weekend are ticketed.

10% of all June sales will be donated to the Cascade AIDS Project to help fund necessary services for the LGBTQ+ community in the PNW.

• Shop our curated selection of books (+ more!) directly through our website. We offer free bike delivery within a reasonable distance of us in Portland and we ship nationwide!

• Find your next audiobook through our shop on libro.fm, where you can choose your titles a la carte or sign up for a monthly membership. Either way, there’s never a holds line 😉 and libro.fm shares proceeds with us and other independent booksellers.

• Buy books & ebooks from our shop at bookshop.org. Bookshop.org lovingly shares 30% of each sale with us. They make it more viable for indie bookstores to stand up against the big bad wolves of the world (aka: Amazon and B&N). If you want something we don’t have in stock, head to our Bookshop page and order from there. They carry physical books and e-books!
