Indie Bookstore Day ❤️
Wow. Last Saturday was Independent Bookstore Day and we had so much fun! Thank you so much to everyone who came out, said hi, bought some merch or a book, and chatted with the local authors we hosted! If you weren’t able to make it out, no worries. We’re still here and we still have our new book bud hats and our new sticker in stock! We also have several signed copies of books by the local authors we hosted last weekend (Olufunke Grace Bankole, Alison Cochrun, Anita Kelly, C.J. Switzer, and Jasmine Sears).
Austin found the Golden Ticket within 10 seconds of walking in the store, so I will be spending the next year trying to figure out a better hiding spot. 😂 We also need to take more pictures next year, but here are a few! Thank you for your love and support and please keep telling your friends and family about us! Every little bit helps.

Help us get diverse books to local students!
This May, we are partnering with The Shadow Project to help get diverse books to local students who need them. The Shadow Project is a local nonprofit that offers school-based programs, proven to help K-8 students with learning challenges — like dyslexia, ADHD, autism and trauma — build skills for school and life success.
Help support local students with learning challenges by purchasing books from our Bookshop.org registry! Books purchased through the registry will be mailed directly to The Shadow Project and will be distributed to students. The Book Drive will run throughout the entire month of May. Please help us get as many books to students as possible by sharing our social posts (already posted on Instagram, Threads, and Bluesky) and telling your friends and family!
